Fort Myers, Fla. / Menomonee Falls, Wis. November 12, 2024 – Members of the leadership team of the American Society of Agricultural Consultants (ASAC) moved up the chairs, assuming new officer roles at the organization’s annual business meeting held in Fort Myers, Fla., November 5. The election was held in conjunction with the Annual Conference there.

Dave Mielnicki, Newmark Valuation and Advisory, Clarkston, Mich., advanced to president of the group. Abigal Byerly, Snowy Mountain Development Corporation, Lewistown, Mont., became the president-elect after serving a year as the organization’s vice president/secretary. Keith Dickinson, CAC, Farm Credit East, Bridgeton, N.J., will serve as immediate past president. Russell Morgan, CAC, Morgan Ag Consulting Services, Portland, Tenn., continues as chief financial officer for another two-year term.

Directors elected to serve two-year terms are Don Tyler, Tyler & Associates, Clarks Hill, Ind., in the Northern Region; and Ron Rabou, Rabou Farms, Inc., Albin, Wyo., for the Western Region. Both were incumbents.

Continuing directors serving a two-year term are Scott Mickey, Clemson University, Columbia, S.C., for the Southern Region; and Ethan Robertson, CAC, Farm Credit East, Auburn, Maine, for the Eastern Region.

ASAC is an organization of agricultural professionals who provide a full spectrum of consulting services to producers across the United States and internationally.

ASAC’s 2025 Annual Conference is scheduled to be held in Indianapolis, Ind., November 2 through 4. The theme, “On Track for Success,” was announced at this year’s event.
